Meet the Dragons

Kora  - Pastel 100% het hypo/OGG
From JDM Dragons
Hatched: 2/24/2009
Father: 100% Marketed Leucistic
Mother: Hypo pastel x Orange German Giant

Kora is my SWEETEST, most "bomb-proof" dragon.  She has done programs with children at the YMCA and transformed many non-reptile people to like dragons.  She was always a great eater and very healthy.  Unfortunately in September of 2011 Kora suffered what seems to have been a stroke.  She was unable to move her front legs or head and had a very distinct head tilt when I found her. One side of her mouth often hangs open. This came very suddenly and everyone who has met this gorgeous, friendly dragon is hoping she recovers fully.  She was taken to a reptile veterinarian and after a course of antibiotics she showed no improvement.  Since then she has made some small improvements, but she will probably be crippled for life from this.  Her head tilt has corrected itself quite a bit, but her front-end movement is still not right.  She leaves one leg splayed out, and one tucked into her body at all times.  She scoots in circles and cannot really move straight.  Despite this, she is still mentally there.  She has been brumating this winter so not eating much other than some syringe feeding with baby food or dragon food and vitamins.  We believe this is NOT a genetic disease, more like a "freak" thing that happened to her such as a stroke.  Please keep Kora in your prayers for a full recovery :(

Greta - Citrus Hypo Trans
From California Citrus Dragons
Hatched: 9/26/10
Father:  Citrus Hypo Trans (OutbackDragonRanch)
Mother:  Citrus trans het hypo (Distinctive Dragons)

No better way to say it other than Greta is a PIG!  She eats everything put in front of her whether she's allowed to or not.  She lives for food.  She is very PLUMP to say in the least!  This girl was the feistiest baby dragon I've ever had to deal with.  She would lunge and hang onto my fingers as a baby.  She's got a set of teeth like no other.  She learned pretty quickly that hands = food so she is now a VERY sweet, laid back and fat girl.  She sits on her basking spot all day long and waits for her food slave to bring fresh salad dishes and her favorite...roaches!  She's completely what I was looking for in a dragon.  My favorites are the bright neon yellows...and she definitely is one.  I also love the translucent morph and hypo is an added bonus so she is the whole package for me!

RamseySilkback 100% het trans, 66% het hypo
From Kaizen Reptiles
Hatched: 5/30/11
Father: Green/Orange Translucent Italian Leatherback
het Hypo
Mother: Red Italian Leatherback het hypo

Ramsey is a really special dragon!  He's my first silkback and his skin feels awesome.  He's very sweet and "shy."  He likes to eat in secret.  I swear he's semi-aquatic.  This dragon LOVES to bathe and would sit in the water all day if I let him.  He's not the best eater, but once he finds something he likes he chows down.  He will hopefully be bred once he sizes up and starts showing interest in the ladies!

Izzi - Hypo Italian Leatherback (100% het translucent)
Hatched: 8/28/11
Father: Hypo trans Italian leatherback (BloodBank Dragons)
Mother: Citrus 100% het for trans and hypo (BloodBank Dragons)

Izzie is new to me, she came sort of as a surprise but she is fitting in nicely.  She's one of the BEST little eaters I've seen.  As soon as I unpacked her from the box she chowed down on her roaches and salad.  She was shipped during freezing temps and did just fine.  She has no problem trudging through the roach bin and picking out her own meal.  She seems like she'll turn out to be a very laid back, "bomb-proof" dragon like Kora!
